Win the IISE trophy
Join more than 10 university delegations in various competitions in order to bring home the famous IISE trophy. Assembling a complete and united delegation will ensure you a great position in the final ranking.
The IISE spirit of cooperation encourages participants to help each other, build strong bonds and test their limits when all eyes are on them. Thanks to our partners, prizes will be awarded to participants who know how to impress the various juries.

Case study
Competition where teams of four students representing their universities compete to solve a real problem encountered in a company. This competition takes place over two days, starting with a visit to the company and a quick collection of information by the participants. Subsequently, a collective brainstorming period lasting five hours takes place behind closed doors. During this period, the 10 participating teams must prepare a presentation that will serve as a support for their presentation of solutions presented the following morning in front of a jury of experts. This competition is often favored by students at the end of their studies.
Simulation
Competition where teams, composed of three delegates, receive information from the month of November preceding the event. They must design a simulation responding to a real problem, respecting several constraints imposed in order to obtain the optimal solution.
Theoretical exam
Competition involving four members from each delegation to measure their knowledge in a comprehensive test that covers several facets of industrial engineering. This test, designed by the event's organizing committee in close collaboration with the teaching staff of Université Laval, presents a high-caliber challenge for all students who wish to test their academic talents, but also their ability to work as a team.
Technical Paper
Competition presenting the opportunity to members chosen by the delegations to present their achievements through their academic projects. In front of an appointed jury, participating students present a technical paper produced during their university studies.
CAPSIZE Competition
Brand new competition that aims to highlight the collaboration and ingenuity of participants during a wild manual challenge. This will be presented in front of a jury following the networking evening.

Sports Competition
University delegations will compete in a sports tournament encouraging team spirit and cooperation
Trivia Quiz
General trivia competition, aimed at testing the knowledge of delegation members. It encourages curiosity and cooperation among participants.
E-Game
Video game tournament, the game of which will be revealed on the day of the competition, testing the talents of the best players as well as their spirit of collaboration.
Speedbuilding
Competition testing the limits of collaboration and organization of participants, in time-limited events.
